She is an intense player who shows hustle and heart every time she steps on the floor. In the post, she can score in various ways…with a killer drop step, or with her nice baby hook. Her versatility allows her to step out and use her excellent jump shot. All of this, coupled with the fact that she is a lefty, makes Maria very difficult to guard. Maria is also an aggressive rebounder and smart defender. She brings the total package to a team.
